COVID-19 safety during face-to-face lessons

Current procedures to keep face-to-face lessons as ‘COVID-19 safe’ as possible:

(This page will be updated to reflect any changes in guidance so please check back regularly)

  • Wear a face mask if possible on entering the building
  • For your safety I will also be wearing a face mask during all lessons
  • Use handsanitizer or wash your hands before AND after your lessons
  • The studio (including piano keys) will be cleaned between every lesson
  • The studio has been rearranged to keep student and teacher 2 metres apart
  • There will be an extra piano so as to avoid sharing an instrument between student/teacher
  • MAXIMUM of 1 parent/guardian accompanying students in their lessons
  • Unfortunately there is now no waiting area so no one can wait in the building during lessons (other than 1 parent/guardian in the lesson)

Face to Face lessons at the studio resume in August

Wednesday, July 15, 2020 by Ian Elliott | Covid-19 updates

Following three months of online-only lessons, I am now in the process of establishing sensible precautions in the studio to resume face-to-face lessons in a 'Covid-19 Secure' environment.  I am aiming to resume some face-to-face lessons in August.

I am contacting all students over the next couple of weeks to establish who would like to resume lessons at the studio.  If any students prefer to continue with online-only lessons for the time being that is absolutely fine. I will continue to contact students individually and will post updates here as well.

As always if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me - consettmusictuition@gmail.com or 07926088908
