December 2020 update - online lessons
Friday, November 27, 2020 by Ian Elliott | Christmas Holidays
Email to all Students and Parents
I hope you are all well and continuing to stay safe. From my family and myself, thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding during the current ongoing situation.
The main reason for this email is that I have taken the decision to continue teaching online-only for the moment - a decision I have not taken lightly. I intend to resume face-to-face lessons straight after the Christmas Holiday, assuming we are allowed. The safety of all students, their families, my family and myself always has to be the main priority and I would hate for anyone to end up having to isolate (or worse get ill) over Christmas as a result of coming out for lessons at the studio.
- I will continue teaching online lessons up until the end of Saturday 19 December
- There will be a 2-week break for Christmas from 20 December 2020 until 3 January 2021
- Face-to-face lessons at the studio will resume from Monday 4 January 2021 (pending any further lockdowns)
- Anyone who wishes to continue lessons online after Christmas is welcome to - just let me know
This is a general email sent to all students/parents - I will also try to speak to everyone individually over the next week or so to make sure everyone is aware and to arrange provisional dates for face-to-face lessons in January 2021.
If you have any questions at all regarding your lessons, please do not hesitate to get in touch either by email: email@example.com or phone/text message: 07926088908 and I will keep this news page https://www.consettmusictuition.co.uk/News---Updates up to date if and when anything changes.
Thank you again. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and all the very best for a safe and happy 2021, I will be in touch with you individually over the next week or so.

COVID-19 update 26 Nov 20
Thursday, November 26, 2020 by Ian Elliott | Covid-19 updates
Following the government’s announcement this morning that County Durham will be in tier 3 from 2 December, for those students currently able to do so.
I will next review the situation at the end of December with a view to possibly returning to face to face lessons in January 2021.
Once again I would like to thank you for your continued support.
November 2020 - Suspending face to face lessons
Monday, November 2, 2020 by Ian Elliott | Covid-19 updates
Unfortunately following the announcement regarding the new lockdown on Saturday 31 October I have decided it's going to be sensible to suspend all face to face lessons and return to online lessons only - with immediate effect.
Once again I am in the process of contacting all students individually so if you haven’t heard from me yet I will be in touch soon to make arrangements with you.
I’m hoping we can review this again at the end of November for December but the safety of students, my family and myself will always be the main priority.
Check back here for any further updates and as always don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions - firstname.lastname@example.org or 07926088908
Together we will do our best to help protect the NHS and save lives.
Stay safe all
